Well, after I went home the other day, I watched a movie, in spanish because I couldn´t find the remote to change the language...the movie automatically played in Spanish. I wonder how much of the movie I missed...but, really, I understood alot....this means I am capable of watching movies in Spanish now. Of course, it means I really have to pay attention and I can´t get up and run to the kitchen without stopping the movie, simply because I can´t dish up my ice cream and listen to spanish at the same time.
After the movie, I played with my guitar a bit. I feel like I finally was able to tune my guitar and practice few chords I had learned through a friend, but it is only a drop in the bucket...so, I called up the friend that can play guitar. She and her family invited me over for a drink, which led to a celebration of the 4th of July, for me, and a couple of bottles of wine. We sang the national anthem, God Bless America, and God Bless the USA. Then, we listened and sang to Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Michael Jackson through You Tube. It was very fun to pass time with this family. They are always so happy and they like to joke around.
Today I stopped by to see them and they asked me how the hangover was...ha ha...then they fed me and we laughed a bit more and discussed my papers and visa problems. The father gave me the name of a lawyer that can help me out...so, we will see what happens. Hoping for the best and planning for the worst....my friend and I talked about the options if I lose my job and I am hopeful that things will work out as they need to. Until then, I continue as I am....and I will look forward to my winter vacation! The snow is calling me in the mountians! ¨Jami, come and ski¨ I think I am going to attempt to go next Sunday, alone...then later, during my vacation, I will invite some friends to go together. I just have a burning desire to bomb some hills at maximum speed, so it will be better to go alone the first time. :)
Ok...I need to go to the bathroom and I must work on my planning for the week and make some tests...work, work, work....it gets in the way of fun sometimes...ha ha...ahhh...but work is fun, for the most part. I like my job.
Buenas Noches!
